The British National Party's Nick Griffin says he is preparing for his "biggest election push ever" and is going to get "a huge vote". His key policy, he says, is a call for an immediate pull-out of UK troops from Afghanistan. He also says that suggestions he is costing the public £200,000 in Brussels' expenses are "a lie" and that the money goes to paying staff. One man who's as firmly behind Gordon Brown as ever is John Prescott. The former Labour deputy leader tells the BBC that the PM had the "courage and conviction" to get the UK out of recession - and he should be allowed to carry on doing so. He also hints that he might not be averse to sticking around in politics, despite stepping down as an MP - could we get a Lord Prescott?
