Another victim was Nicholas Thalasinos, 52, a health inspector, who moved to California about a decade ago to be with his wife Jennifer, who is a teacher.
Thalasinos, who had two adult sons, worked alongside Syed Farook, his wife told CNN on Thursday.
Jennifer Thalasinos said her husband “evangelised” about his faith “to everybody who would listen”.
She said she did not know if her husband and Farook had spoken, let alone engaged in any dispute prior to the shooting, but said:
There very easily could have been an argument with my husband, I wouldn’t be surprised.
She added that her husband had been “very upset at what Isis has been doing”, saying he had been angry that “the majority of Muslims … won’t come out and do anything about it”.

My colleague Rory Carroll in San Bernardino has more on some of the victims of the shooting:
Shannon Johnson | |
Johnson, 45, worked as an environmental health specialist for the county for 10 years. According to his Linked-In profile he was educated at California State Univesity-San Bernardino and specialised in food safety, recreational health and housing. He described his interests as the environment, music and the arts.
Bennetta Bet-Badal | |
Bet-Badal, 46, a plan inspector for restaurants, was married to Arlen Verdehyou, a police officer, and the mother of two boys and a girl, aged 10, 12 and 15. According to a fundraising page set up by her family she emigrated from Iran aged 18.
She earned a bachelor of science degree in biotechnology and chemistry from Cal Poly Pomona and spoke Farsi and Assyrian, according to her LinkedIn account. She listed her skills as government, policy, research, training, analysis and community development. She had worked for San Bernardino county since 2006.
Before the death was confirmed Verdehyou told the Daily Breeze he was with their children and holding out for good news. “There is no reason for evilness. You just have to be strong for each other.” She decorated a beautiful Christmas tree, he added.
Aurora Godoy | |
Godoy, 26, was the youngest victim. Photos on her Facebook profile showed her smiling with an infant boy and a partner, James. “Our little Packer family,” she wrote, in reference to the Green Bay Packers. Godoy had eclectic taste, liking Walt Disney films as well as the Fast and the Furious, and the Nicholas Sparks novel Dear John.
Isaac Amanios | |
The 60-year-old was from Fontana, a city 10 miles west of San Bernardino. He worked for the county health department and is survived by his wife and three adult children, the LA Times reported.
Harry Bowman | |
Online records suggest the 46-year-old was a substitute biology teacher.
Yvette Velasco | |
The 27-year-old from Fontana worked for the San Bernardino county environmental health department. Her friends were worried for her after tracking her cellphone to the building where the shooting took place, the Desert Sun reported in a video interview with a friend before confirmation of her death.
