The BBC's Jeremy Paxman will interview David Cameron and Gordon Brown on the last two Fridays of the general election campaign. Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg has already been questioned, but there had been doubts over whether his Conservative and Labour rivals would do the same. Responding to the news that inflation levels increased last month, shadow Treasury minister Philip Hammond says: "This is worrying news for families who are already feeling the pinch." He adds: "A hung Parliament could lead to an even weaker pound and even higher inflation, with the risk of higher interest rates to tackle it."
